Pont Gauron

A Bridge in Montreal, built 1959

These paintings are part of a commissioned project for a client based out of Montreal. An appreciation for the industrial/man-made in a natural environment. The idea of mother nature taking over, her slow and quiet revenge. The idea of persistence, like a river making it’s path.

With the sketches and iterations of this bridge and the many perspectives that can be seen just by changing your viewpoint, one gains a deeper understanding of the different speeds to experience the world, and how these paths merge and intersect.

Please take a look at the studies and process work for the final piece.
